Check in time is from 2:00PM onwards and our reception desk is conveniently open until 11:00PM (Currently limited hours), 7 days a week.

Checkout is at 11:00 AM

Security Deposit – if any damage occurs or excessive cleaning is required, you may be charged up to $200+

All guests must be 18 years or older to check in and must be between 18-45 years old upon check in for (Dormitory Rooms  Only)

Group Reservations: Any reservation with 3 guests or more is considered a group reservation, and requires a 50% deposit down and must be made via email at Honu@wetravelhawaii.com (otherwise the reservation is subject to cancellation)

When checking in, please prepare the following:

1. VALID PASSPORT or VALID STATE ISSUED ID (must be between 18 – 45 years old upon check in for Dormitory Rooms)

2. PROOF OF ONWARDS TRAVEL (Ticket leaving Hawai’i)


We only accept cancellations/changes via email. Please note that any cancellations /changes must be made at least 5 days prior to your scheduled arrival time, indicated upon booking. We charge the total of the first night for all cancellations made less than 5 days from arrival. In case of a no show, we will charge in full for the first night and cancel the reservations for the second night and thereafter.

There is no refund after check in. All cancellations must be made at least 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival time during Christmas and New year’s period.

Yes, in all of our one bedroom suite bedrooms, Semi-Private rooms, and Mix 2 dorm rooms. The living rooms are all equipped with ceiling fans.

(Mix 6 dormitories do not have Air conditioning and have ceiling fans in the main dorms)
